During the second trimester (typically between 24 and 28 weeks), pregnant women undergo a glucose challenge test to see how their bodies process sugar. While traditional screening drinks often contain artificial dyes, BVO, and high-fructose corn syrup, The Fresh Test™ is made with just three organic ingredients: water, organic lemon juice, and organic crystallized glucose. • Consumption: You will drink the 50g glucose beverage within a 5-minute window.
• The Waiting Period: You will wait in our office for exactly one hour. During this time, you should avoid eating or drinking anything else.
• The Blood Draw: After one hour, our team will draw a small sample of blood to measure your glucose levels.
  

Because it is made with organic lemon and real glucose, many patients find that they experience less nausea and "sugar crashes" compared to traditional laboratory drinks.
