Denise Peebles, FNP

Denise Peebles, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who brings over two decades of specialized obstetric experience to the Ogeechee OBGYN team, serving patients at the Statesboro, Swainsboro, and Sylvania locations. A native of Swainsboro, Georgia, Denise has dedicated her career to caring for the women in her hometown and the surrounding communities. Her deep-rooted local connection and extensive clinical background make her a trusted provider for patients at every stage of life.

Denise's journey in healthcare began in 2000, when she earned her Associate of Science in Nursing from Middle Georgia State College. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she spent 15 years at Emanuel Medical Center, where she gained expert-level experience in labor and delivery, the newborn nursery, and postpartum care. This foundational decade and a half in maternal-fetal health allows her to provide exceptionally knowledgeable and compassionate care to expectant mothers and their babies.

In 2022, Denise graduated from the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Georgia Southwestern State University and earned her board certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Since joining Ogeechee OBGYN, she has been instrumental in expanding the practice's reach. She currently serves patients at three of our local facilities: the Swainsboro clinic, the Main Office, and The Annex.

Denise lives in Swainsboro with her husband and their three daughters. When she isn't in the clinic, she enjoys thrift shopping, gardening, and spending quality time with her family.
