Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) providers, also known as perinatologists, specialize in high-risk pregnancy care. If you have a pregnancy related complication, you may be referred to Maternal Fetal Medicine for further evaluation. Your OB works closely with the high-risk specialist to determine the best plan of care to keep you and your baby safe and healthy throughout your pregnancy and delivery.
